The 21st Century Worker and the Skills Required of Them

If we recognise that the world of work, and the skills required to function within it has changed radically in the past twenty years, what skills and competences will those leaving schools require to thrive in this new world?

The University of Phoenix has proposed the skills in the link.

Of course, this begs the question “How are schools changing to reflect this required skill set?” In my experience I would say “Insufficiently radically!” This is why the Opening Minds curriculum model of the RSA proves so interesting as a development model for future learning.
