This is a think piece which simply shows three classrooms which reflect innovative educational philosophies from Montessori, Steiner and Reggio preschools.

Can you formulate some understanding of the educational philosophy underpinning the classroom design?

All these educational philosophies may be considered as being ‘child centred’ in that bringing on the natural talents of the individual and letting them flourish is seen as more important than knowledge transmission in the early years.
