Skills for Employment in the 21st Century…


Although I don’t take the utilitarian approach that schools are simply there to equip students for a life of work, there is some merit in looking at the demands of the modern workplace and auditing how the learning offered in schools matches up to the specification.

Certainly if your curriculum offer and range of learning experiences does not work towards the requirements of the modern workplace, you are clearly not best equipping your students for the excitement and challenges of life beyond school.
