The Learning Renaissance

Future Proof Your School book launched!

Future proof your school cover

Future Proof Your School implores all teachers and leaders to re-focus, work collectively and have a clear and shared vision of the excellence we want to achieve.

We all need to think beyond the annual academic year cycle. We need to plan strategically in terms of the life cycle of the child working through your school, a five or seven year plan.

I focus on the concept of reflective learning – being explicit about what you are doing, how you are doing it, sharing findings and building improvement mechanisms.

Each chapter is prefaced with a cartoon and an outline of the Key Issues to be addressed. Problems are outlined and I dip into my own experiences, to illustrate the general problems in a more specific context. Triangulation points, with prompts, to allow the reader to contextualise the issues presented to the specific circumstances of their own school.

If the ideas presented are of interest to you, I’d be happy to support you to discuss how we shape schools that provide a 21st century education of quality for all.

About educationalist04

Dazed and confused much of the time but convinced we can, as a species, do much better than this if we set our minds to being much more positive and productive towards our fellow humans.
