There seems increasing disillusionment in the UK regarding the purposes and practices of education and increasing numbers of teacher are looking towards a fundamental re-think of the whole education system.
The future will require more than pupils fed an increasing irrelevant diet of redundant data. My book shows how, short of a national debate, schools can go about giving more relevant and challenging learning experiences which develop independent and autonomous learners fit for the challenge of the future.
It is good to see schools picking it up as part of both senior leadership team and initial teacher training. Clearly, some schools are more self aware than others about what they require to do to move learning forward…
