The Leader You Most Admired and Should Aspire to Emulate

I imagine we will all recognise the qualities of great leaders in this infographic.

I find many of these qualities apply not to the brash and narcissistic examples of leadership portrayed on programmes like the apprentice, but belong in the box marked ‘servant leadership. Effective Leadership is always about Us and not I.

The only point I would take issue with is the ‘forgave us when we made mistakes’. I think that should be more nuanced to include ‘celebrated mistakes he/she/we made in the pursuit of more effective learning.’
